CHAINS
When purchasing a sterling silver chain, it's important to ensure that you get the right size to ensure a comfortable fit. A chain that is too tight can be uncomfortable to wear, while a chain that is too loose can be prone to tangling and getting caught on clothing or other items. Let's discuss the best way to measure and fit your sterling silver chain to ensure a perfect fit. The first step in measuring your silver chain is to determine the length of the chain that you need. The most common lengths for silver chains are 40cm, 45cm, and 50cm.
Of course, chains can also come in different lengths such as 55cm, 60cm, 65cm or even more! To measure your neck, you can use a soft measuring tape or a piece of string. Simply wrap the tape or string around your neck, and make a mark or knot where the ends meet. Then, measure the length of the tape or string. This measurement will give you a good idea of the length of chain that you need.
It's also important to keep in mind that the chain length you choose will also depend on the style of the chain and the look you are trying to achieve. For example, if you're looking for a chain that sits high on the neck, you might choose a shorter length like 40cm. If you're looking for a chain that sits lower on the neck, you might choose a longer length like 50cm.
Another important factor to consider when fitting a silver chain is the width of the chain. The width of the chain refers to the thickness of the chain links. A wider chain will naturally be heavier and will fit tighter to the neck than a thinner chain. It's important to take this into consideration when choosing the right length of your chain.
You should be able to comfortably fit your fingers between the chain and your skin. You should also be able to move your head without the chain feeling too tight or too loose.
In conclusion, finding the right fit for your sterling silver chain is important to ensure comfort, to prevent tangling or getting caught on clothing and of course - to achieve the desired look! Following these guidelines will help you find the perfect fit for your sterling silver chain, so you can enjoy wearing it - and Slayy products are designed to be worn for years to come.
